Astrological Warning Signs

Here is a blog post for the intent of astrological studies on the turbulent events that followed in the Middle East, with News that states from the time of Wed Sept. 12, 2012 7:49pm EDT. The President of the United States  branded the killing of the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other Americans- an "outrageous assault" on Wednesday and vowed to trace down the perpetrators, whereas ordering a tightening of diplomatic safety worldwide.

Ambassador, Christopher Stevens, and the other Americans had been killed after Islamist gunmen attacked the U.S. consulate and a protected house refuge in Benghazi on Tuesday night. The attackers have been part of a mob blaming America for a movie they stated insulted the Prophet Mohammad.

The violence in the  city, a cradle of Libya's U.S.-backed uprising against Muammar Gaddafi last yr, came on the anniversary of al Qaeda's assaults on the United States on September 11, 2001. Another assault was mounted on the U.S. embassy in Cairo through which protesters, who included Islamists and teenage soccer followers, tore down and burned a U.S. flag.

With all the turmoil that followed in the hours and days is certainly disturbing to ponder what the country of  Libya who are trying to rebuild a country of that region as part of the Middle East.

We see that the fixed star Denebola is the major Morning Rising star which is right on the Ascendant Horizon line and at this time the Sun and Mercury conjoined. This angle know to astrologers is the Ascendant- one of 4 powerful angles important in astrology The Ascendant is the eastern point intersection of the horizon and the Ecliptic. The degree of the zodiac rising on the eastern horizon of the birthplace at the time of birth or event.

A Star Parans are the ancient manner of linking a planet to a star. Due to the rotation of the earth on its axis, the stars and planets will appear to move in the sky - traveling from rising, to culminating, to setting, and then to rising again. This movement known as diurnal motion, and one complete circle offers us, of course, one day. A star is said to be in paran with a planet when the planet is on any of the 4 points of rising, culminating, setting, or on the Nadir, and at the identical moment in time, for that latitude, the star can be on ANY of the same 4 angles or points. Thus on a given day for a given latitude as Mars rises there could also be a star culminating and if that is the case then Mars is in paran to that star.

Observations of Denebola.

We see Sun & Mercury conjoin on the horizon line with Denebola. This star which is known to be "Being on the edge of the establishment"

According to Ptolemy Denebola is of the nature of Saturn and Venus; It gives swift judgment, despair, regrets, public disgrace, misfortune from the elements of nature, and happiness turned to anger, and makes its natives noble, daring, self-controlled, generous and busy with other people's affairs. [Robson*, p.160-161.]

The 'Tail of the Lion' has a Uranian nature and it is supposed that, in mundane horoscopes, major catastrophes are triggered off by it. Depending on the position and aspect to other stellar bodies in a personal cosmogram, either preferment or fall are credited to this star. Found on the Ascendant and especially in company with Mercury, a quarrelsome nature, with a liking for legal action is attributed to Denebola. It could also mean that this star is the cause of very exciting events. Badly placed in a map, with Mercury or Uranus, mental diseases - and those mostly incurable ones - are indicated. It is very clear to astrologers that a Sun/Mercury conjunction means  the ego and the thoughts are aligned, people with Sun conjunct Mercury possess a lot psychological energy.
